There are a wide array of accommodations in Mount Shasta including resorts, bed and breakfasts, hotel and camp grounds. Below we have listed 5 choices that span that spectrum and tried to detail what you can expect from each location. - The Mount Shasta Resort; 1000 Siskiyou Lake Blvd. - (530) 926-3030 --The Resort said they didn't offer group rates for wedding parties until Rich (Daniel's father) called and they changed their tune:). Under "Hamilton/Hester Wedding" they will temporarily hold the following: 1 bedroom Lake View room- 169.00 per night with a 2 night min. (full kitchen), 2 bedroom Lake view 246.00 per night, 2 night min. (full kitchen), Hotel type room King w/ jacuzzi 144.00 per night 2 night min. In case you miss this deal and are still interested in the resort, their online www.mountshastaresort.com rates run anywhere between $175 and $225 a night and many of their nicest rooms and chalets require a two-night minimum over the weekend. The resort promises to be a beautiful escape:)
- Best Western Tree House Motor Inn; 111 Morgan Way - (530) 926-3101 -- The Best Western has blocked 30 rooms for guests of our wedding. The single bed rooms are $130.90 and the double bed rooms are $139.40 for the night of the wedding. You can add additional nights at the same price when you make your reservation. These reservations must be made 30 days in advance of the wedding for this discount. After that, you can still reserve rooms at their regular rate of $155 and $165 respectively.

- The Shasta MountInn; 203 Birch Street - (530) 926-1810 -- This Bed & Breakfast is the Lonely Planet pick for where to lodge in Mount Shasta! The price runs between $125 and $150 per night with a 2-night minimum and the owner, David, has offered $20 off a massage (usually $65) if you choose his Bed & Breakfast for your stay. The MountInn promises to be a great experience with a Jacuzzi, Sauna and a kitchen that you can use personally in case you don't feel like walking to a restaurant for every meal. According to Lonely Planet, the Shasta MountInn is "only antique on the outside - inside, this Victorian farmhouse is all relaxed minimalism. Each airy room has a designer mattress and exquisite views of the luminous mountain. Enjoy the expensive garden, wrap-around deck and outdoor sauna." (Lonely Planet California p 317)

- The Dream Inn Suites; 326 Chestnut Street - (530) 926 - 1536 -- The Dream Inn is a well priced bed & breakfast that is offering a great discount to our wedding party! Their special rate is as follows: their suites, which sleep 2 - 4 people each, for $100 and $140 respectively (2 night minimum stay) and 5 single bedrooms, each with 1 queen bed for $60 each night (2 night minimum stay). Please ask to speak with Lonna when you call because she is the woman that helped develop this deal.

- The Lake Siskiyou Camp-Resort; off I-5. (530) 926-2618 -- The Lake Siskiyou Camp-Resort offers both cabin and tent camping options if you are interested in making your adventure a bit more rustic. Their offerings are as follows: (1) 5 large cabins that can each sleep 6 - 8 people per night. The large cabins run at a base price of $145/night for 2 people and 1 vehicle and $5 more for each additional person or vehicle. (2) 1 small cabin that can sleep 2 - 4 people per night. The small cabin is $100/night with 2 people and 1 vehicle and an additional $5 for each additional person or vehicle. (3) Tent camping sites for anywhere from 2 - 40 people. Each site is $21.60 for each night for 2 people and 1 vehicle occupancy with an added $3 for each additional person or vehicle. All three options provide hot shower access as well as the opportunity to enjoy all the Lake Siskiyou Camp-Resort amenities including the beach, rentals, restaurant and grocery store access, nightly 8pm movies for children.
